Entry to the BID Welwyn Garden City BID Awards 2018 is now open and it is FREE to BID businesses!

The Welwyn Garden City BID Awards are designed by the WGC BID to celebrate, recognise and promote a great shopping, eating, drinking and overall customer service experience in Welwyn Garden City town centre.

The awards will be judged by mystery shopping so that each business can have a better understanding of their strengths and shortfalls. Each shortlisted business will be mystery shopped by Storecheckers FOR FREE as part of the judging process.

Entry is FREE for all businesses within the BID area and you will get a brilliant report and 1 to 1 feedback session worth over £100 from Storecheckers.

There are 10 categories this year are:

1. National Retailer

2. Independent Retailer

3. Health Services

4. Professional & Services

5. Estate Agents

1. Hair & Beauty

2. Leisure & Travel

3. Café, Coffee Shop & Fast Food

4. Restaurants and Pubs

5. Community & Voluntary

In addition to the above you will all be entered in the People’s Favourite categories, to be advised shortly. The winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on 12 October 2018 – more information to follow.
